Last summer as a super organized father, I decided to take my kids Shaun and Syrus to King Dominion for vacation. I always try to blend fun with a bit of leaning. I thought them park would be a great way to let them blow off some steam before the school year started.
The day started off great, with Shaun and Syrus excitedly running towards the first roller coaster. However, things quickly took a turn when Shaun is afraid of heights, refused to go on any of the big rides. we compromised and started with the milder rides, gradually working our way up to the bigger ones.
By the end of the day, we all tired but happy. We spent the afternoon exploring the water part, play game, shooting basketball, eating and more. This was a story we would remember for years, and I was grateful for the opportunity to create these memories.
