REFLECTIONS ON THE COURSE AND FINAL PROJECT
This course has been an incredible journey of learning and creativity. The course provided a comprehensive overview of the of storytelling techniques, design principles, and the effective use of visual, audio, and video elements. The final project which involved creating a story incorporating all these elements, was both challenging and rewarding. I learned the importance of planning and storyboarding to ensure a cohesive narrative. I also gained practical skills in video editing, audio mixing, and graphic design, which are invaluable for future projects.
IF I COULD DO IT AGAIN
If I were to take this class again, I would focus on improving my time management skills. I often found myself rushing to meet deadlines, which sometimes compromise the quality of my work. I would also spend more time experimenting with different storytelling approaches and seeking feedback from my instructor. Additionally, I would dedicate more effort to mastering the technical aspects of the software and tools we used in class.
THE MOST EXCITING PROJECT
The most exciting project for me was the visual assignment, where we had to create a series of image that told a story to engage audience in different way, and also emotionally. This project challenge to think how images, color, song, effect and more could convey information, emotion to change audiences’ perspective? This project also allowed me to tap into my creative side and develop my skills in visual communication. It was a joy to see how a simple image could evoke such a strong response from the audiences.
